With less than two months until MarchFest organisers are making it even easier for national visitors to join locals at this iconic Nelson Event.

In 2012, MarchFest are using Social Media to spread the MarchFest Brand nationwide, attracting fans from all over New Zealand. There is currently a competition running until 12pm on Friday 3rd February where four double passes (eight tickets total) are up for grabs to the value of $280.00. Entrants must ‘like’ the MarchFest facebook page and then write on wall the beverage they are looking forward to enjoying at the event followed by ‘tagging’ three friends they wish to share it with. Earlybird tickets for MarchFest are $25 until Feb 29th and $35 after that date. They can be bought NOW online at www.marchfest.com and from The Free House, Nelson, all branches of NBS (Nelson, Richmond, Motueka, Takaka, Murchison, Greymouth and Westport) and I-Sites at Nelson, Takaka and Murchison.

MarchFest has received sponsorship funding for this year's event from the Nelson Events Marketing & Development Programme, which is funded by the Nelson City Council. The Programme's objective is to stimulate Nelson City's economy in the shoulder and off seasons by bringing new spending through visitors coming to Nelson for distinct events.
