CIDER by Peckhams
Boysenberry Cider / 5.4%
Proper tree ripened apples, local boysenberries and…nothing else. This ain’t no lolly water! Slow, wild fermentation and long maturation create a cider that’s fruity and bright. Add whole boysenberries and the result is a delicious cider oozing with berry fragrance.
Farmhouse Cider / 5.5% Alc
Full-bodied, with subtle farmhouse notes, ripe fruit and a mellow sweetness contained by a tannic finish. Matured in oak and steel for over 10 months. This cider conjures up oak tables, earthenware jugs and thatched roofs.
Fresh Hopped Cider / 5.7% Alc
A celebration of two local Nelson harvests. A robust, medium-dry cider made from our cider apples and infused with loads of fresh, aromatic Pacifica and Motueka hops. Yummy grapefruit and tangerine notes with a touch of bitterness.
Gulab Jamun Cider / 5.3% Alc
Named after the delicious Indian sweet made from reduced milk swimming in cardamon and rosewater syrup. Infused with crushed cardamon pods and rose water this is a fagrant, delightful cider that's actually not very sweet.
Reserve Dry Cider / 6.5% Alc
Bone dry and a little bit funky. Traditional cider apples give flavours of apple peel and barnyard, buttery texture and dry finish. Nice tannins and added complexity from barrel aged.
