Join the Crew in 2021

Marchfest is a real community event; it is a great celebration of the hop harvest here in Nelson and would not be possible without the time and ongoing support that is invested by its volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers on the day to help with:

  • Selling Marchfest tickets at the Gate Sales booth

  • Pouring beer at the bar (must be over 18 years)

  • Waste management

  • Kids Zone supervisors

  • Merchandise retail

  • Welcoming guests to the park

Shifts are first in first served, so be in quick to make sure you get your preferred one!

All volunteers are to attend the pre-event briefing. This will be at 5.30 pm Thursday 18th March 2021, at Founders Park in The Granary.

Here’s what you get:

  • Complimentary Entry to Marchfest before/after your volunteer shift (please note that you may NOT consume any alcoholic beverages prior to your shift starting)

  • Souvenir Marchfest Crew t-Shirt and Marchfest glass

  • Pre-loaded Marchfest Cashless Payment Wristband to spend on beer/food (value of $20 or 2 standard beers). Marchfest is going cashless - so no tokens as per previous years!

  • Spend the day being part of the best beer festival in NZ!

We are currently also taking volunteer bookings for interested groups (sports teams, work clubs etc), who would like to use Marchfest as a fundraising opportunity for their club, contact the Marchfest Team here to enquire.
