TIM ALLEN & THE TWO

U.K born New Zealand Artist Tim Allen has been a mainstay in the N.Z music scene for the last decade. Releasing Two singles with Stormporter which gained rotation on music T.V and received glowing reviews and radio play. Tim Joined International touxring band ‘Hangar 18’ and toured N.Z and signed an Asia wide deal with MCA music (Universal music Philippines) which saw him complete two tours of Australasia playing in many countries including, China (Hong Kong) Philippines, Singapore and Australia. To date Tim has recorded two full length studio albums, firstly, ‘ It’s All About Time’ was produced by family friend Alan Gregson known for his work with English band ‘Cornershop’ as well as many other artists including Ivor novella award winner , Russell Watson. He Then joined forces with Kiwi Legend “Ben King” To record “The Last Bastion Of a Lad’ after their work together on the Stormporter singles. Produced by Ben King and engineered by both King and Nick Abbott, The Last Bastion Of a Lad features some of New Zealand’s finest musicians including Ben King (Goldenhorse), Milan Borich (Pluto), Matthias Jordan (Pluto, Night choir), plus appearances by Dominic Blaazer, Toni Randle (Eyreton Hall) and Callum Passells. Both Albums are published by SONGBROKER a Kiwi publishing company owned by songstress Jan Hellreigal . Tim bring his unique sound to life, receiving good reviews, and a sync with tv show, Shortland street and thousands of streams online. To tour the album Tim recruited session Drummer Freddie Green (The Dirty Youth, Lexxa) to do a 4 date tour (c/church, Dunedin, Blenheim, Auckland), in support of ‘The Last Bastion of a lad’. 
After a successful outing, Tim and Freddie decided to start writing and see what would materialise from their two different backgrounds in music. Freddie was an accomplished musician over in the U.K signing a record deal and publishing deals (Marshall Records, Notting Hill Publishing, Uprawr Publishing). Freddie also Managed successful album campaigns, notably in the organisation and execution of the Amazons debut album which saw it chart at No.8 in the UK album charts. With this Freddie gained valuable experience in the process needed to organise all aspects of a large scale tour, as well as gaining and maintaining PR momentum. Freddie has been fortunate enough to tour the world over and record in some of the worlds top studios including and E.P at Abbey Road Studios and a full-length album at Rockfield Studios in Wales. Freddie has also worked with some of the worlds Top Producers including Mark ‘Spike’ Stent (Ed Sheeran, The Twang, Massive Attack), Tom Allom (Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Def Leppard) and Romesh Dodangoda (Bring me the Horizon). The Latest single, ‘Love is a Pill’ has already been heard by the Bassist of Six Sixty, ‘Chris Mac', who immediately got in touch with Tim and offered to help produce his next single. Exciting times ahead... Engineered and Produced by Ben King, (Bic Runga, Tim Finn, Dave Dobbyn) Tim Allen will be joined with Ben King at Marchfest!
