Nelson City Council
Marchfest has received sponsorship funding for this year’s event from the Nelson Events Marketing & Development Programme, which is funded by the Nelson City Council. The Programme’s objective is to stimulate Nelson City’s economy in the shoulder and off seasons by bringing new spending through visitors coming to Nelson for distinct events.
NZ Hops Ltd
New Zealand Hops is a Nelson-based contemporary grower co-operative with core business values founded on collective sustainability, innovative research, creative technologies and modern operational capability. Hops have been grown in the region for more than 150 years and co-ordination of the industry was facilitated with the inception of the New Zealand Hop Marketing Board in 1939. The company has supported a professional plant-breeding programme since the 1950s and, in 1972, New Zealand became the first country in the world to commercially produce hops from triploid hop cultivars in response to international brewers' demand for seedless hops.
Nelson's 92.8 More FM is your station for local events. From fundraisers to family days, the Mako to Marchfest - local host Josh Fogden (10am - 3pm weekdays) will keep you posted with what's on in Nelson/ Tasman on Nelson's More FM.

Your brewing buddies, Cryer Malt, just eat, live and breathe good beer! They are dedicated to sourcing the world’s most premium malt, hops and yeast so brewers can keep crafting those innovative and excellent brews which we have all come to love.
Supporting local craft beer events is one of the ways Cryer Malt love to help grow and sustain the New Zealand brewing industry, as it continues to forge its place as a leader in the global craft beer phenomenon.
That’s why Cryer Malt will be back sponsoring the Brew Zone at Marchfest 2021 and are pumped to drink some delicious beer with you all! So, if you see the team around the traps, make sure to stop and say g’day. They are always keen for a chat over a cold one.

We carry a comprehensive range of musical instruments and hifi equipment from our store at 264 Hardy St Nelson. The best brands in world are available here in store or online. We strive to offer the best service we possibly can at the best value prices.
The team love listening to and creating music, some more successfully than others! We enjoy helping our customers find the right product for them to create great musical experiences.
The Free House
The Free House has long been a part of Nelson’s craft beer world, nearly as long as Marchfest in fact, working with Marchfest to help bring as many fabulous beers to as many fabulous people as possible.
Opening in 2009 in a little old church, it has become a destination for the beerniscenti. With 18 ever-changing taps or hand pulls there is plenty to choose from while you soak up some rays in the sunny garden, chill in the church or find your happy place under the pergola with it’s supercool heating system.
A great Sunday place to gently wind down from the excitement of Marchfest.
